DENN took part in a technical mission organised by AFM Cluster in Catalonia, an initiative aimed at exploring new industrial capabilities, technologies and projects related to advanced manufacturing, automation and industrial digital transformation.
Through a programme of visits to companies and technology centres, the mission offered participants the opportunity to explore different approaches to innovation, exchange experiences and establish connections with industry professionals.
Visits to Leading Companies and Technology Centres
On the first day, the mission included visits to HP, FANUC Europe and Eurecat Technology Centre. The programme also featured planned visits to SEAT and DFactory Barcelona, providing opportunities to learn about industrial capabilities, technologies and projects related to advanced manufacturing and industrial transformation.
As part of the mission, we took part in a visit to DFactory Barcelona, an industrial innovation hub developed by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, bringing together companies and projects focused on Industry 4.0.
The visit gave us an opportunity to learn more about its technological ecosystem and explore initiatives related to industrial digitalisation, while exchanging experiences with other industry professionals.
