WHAT IS MPT

The MPT is a rotary forming machine with two working stations, designed for the manufacture of V-belt transmission pulleys for the automotive industry.

It performs rotary grooving operations on cylindrical preforms, using multiple forming passes with profiled rollers to accumulate material and achieve the required groove geometry.

Computer-aided production is managed through PLC programming, ensuring stable, repeatable cycles and high shape accuracy.

The two-station configuration allows efficient production flow and consistent results across series.

Why choose MPT?

BENEFITS

High-precision groove forming

Multiple roller passes reproduce the final groove profile with high dimensional accuracy and repeatability.

Material efficiency

Progressive material accumulation minimises waste while achieving the required groove width and thickness.

Stable, repeatable production

Controlled forming and clamping prevent run-out, ensuring consistent quality part after part.

Process stability

Controlled temperature and forming strategy ensure reliable industrial output.
